Shooter did some wonderful things and some awful things and may or may not have been the world’s greatest people person. Too, presuming he’s not exaggerating, he came from the kind of background where accomplishing what he did is highly unlikely but also setting to a degree how he would do it. So I have a degree of rachmanos for him.
(But not to the degree that I can’t be amused by Brevoort’s joke!)
